Our prioritised areas

The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC) prioritises five areas, each of which includes a number of set goals that we seek to achieve. These are Atmosphere, Land-Based Ecosystems, Aquatic Ecosystems, People and the Association’s Resources.

SSNC’s strategy for the future was adopted by the association’s general meeting in 2018 and concerns the period 2019–2022. This strategy serves as the basis for the association’s work. In this strategy, we describe our five objectives, our role in society and the methods we adopt in our work.

Objective 1: Atmosphere: clean air and limited impact on the climate

Objective 2: Land-based ecosystems: a viable nature in forests and on land

Objective 3: Aquatic ecosystems: vibrant waters from spring to ocean

Objective 4: People: environmentally sound people in sustainable societies

Objective 5: The association’s resources: a strong and influential organisation
